Billunera: Invoice & Estimate — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 October 2026
Billunera: Invoice & Estimate is provided by Meomsoft. This policy explains how information is handled in the iPhone and iPad app. Contact us at info@meomsoft.com with privacy questions or requests.
Your business data stays on your device
Billunera stores the information you enter locally: business and client names, contact details, addresses, tax information, payment instructions, products and services, invoices, estimates, recorded payments, notes, logos, signature images, and preferences. Documents, calculations, financial reports, and PDFs are generated on your device. We do not upload this business content to a Meomsoft server or send it to RevenueCat. Billunera does not require you to create an account with us. Signature images are used in your documents, not for biometric identification.
Purchases and Pro access
Apple processes payments for Billunera Pro. RevenueCat helps us retrieve available plans, verify purchase status, unlock Pro, restore purchases, and understand subscription activity. Its SDK connects to the service when the app initializes and when purchase information is refreshed, even if you do not complete a purchase.
Information processed for these purposes includes an automatically generated app user identifier, purchase and transaction records, receipt or transaction verification information, subscription and entitlement status, and technical information such as app and SDK versions and device operating system. Requests to online services also expose connection information such as your IP address. We do not provide your invoice contents or client database to these services, or set your business name or email as RevenueCat customer attributes. We do not receive your full payment card details.
See Apple’s App Store privacy notice and RevenueCat’s privacy information. RevenueCat processes app end-user information on our behalf under our service arrangements.
Sharing, exports, and backups
You choose whether to export or share PDFs, CSV files, payment receipts, reminders, or backups. The receiving app, recipient, printer, or storage provider then handles that copy under its own practices. We do not automatically email invoices or upload backups to our own cloud.
Backup files can contain your business records, client information, logos, and signatures. Billunera does not add password encryption to exported backup archives. Store and share them carefully. Your device or cloud backup service may also include app data according to your settings; we do not control those copies.
Permissions and reminders
Photo selection is used to choose a business logo. File access is used when you select a backup to restore or choose where to save an export. These features do not upload selected files to us. Optional notification permission lets the app schedule reminders locally. Reminders may display an invoice number and outstanding balance on your lock screen, depending on your notification settings. You can change permissions and notification previews in your device settings. Billunera does not request access to your contacts, microphone, or precise location.
Advertising and tracking
Billunera contains no advertising SDK and does not sell personal information or share it for cross-company behavioral advertising. We do not use your business records to build advertising profiles. The app has no separate general-purpose analytics or crash-reporting SDK; purchase-related processing by RevenueCat is described above. This policy covers the app; a website you visit may have its own privacy and cookie practices.
Support and why we process information
If you contact us, we receive the email address, message, and attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer your request and resolve issues. Please avoid sending client records or other sensitive business information unless needed for your request.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process service and purchase information to provide the app and paid features, support correspondence for our legitimate interest in helping users, and information needed to meet legal obligations. Optional permissions remain under your control. We do not use automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
Retention, deletion, and your choices
Local records remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app. Removing the app normally removes its local business database, but exported files, shared copies, and device or cloud backups can remain elsewhere. Deleting local data does not cancel an Apple subscription or necessarily erase purchase records or SDK identifiers.
We retain support correspondence and service-related personal information only as needed for the purposes described here, applicable legal obligations, and resolving disputes. Purchase records may need to be retained to provide ongoing access, handle refunds, or meet legal requirements. Contact us to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection where available under applicable law, including GDPR or Türkiye’s KVKK. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent and complain to your local data protection authority. We may need information to verify and locate the relevant records. We cannot retrieve documents stored only on your device. Manage subscription cancellation through your Apple account.
Security and international processing
The app uses the operating system’s app storage protections, and purchase-service communications use encrypted network connections. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Protect your device and exported files. Our providers may process purchase and support information outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, transfers must use the safeguards provided by applicable data protection law and our provider agreements.
Children
Billunera is a business invoicing tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The revision date will be updated, and we will provide any additional notice required by law. For questions or privacy requests, contact Meomsoft at info@meomsoft.com.
